THE RANT!

MY 2018 NEW YEARS RESOLUTION

This year has been an extremely hard year for my family and I. Some exciting things have happened, but really tough things have happened as well. We bought a house this year, EXCITING, and we watched our happy little man grow so much! I am extremely grateful to have a home and a healthy family of course, HOWEVER, buying a home came with a lot of new stresses. We needed a lot of renovating, which we are still working on, and that costs a lot of money $$$. Then ON TOP OF THAT my boyfriend got laid off. 🙁 So now I am working a full time job and a part time job to get our bills paid until he can find a new job. Anyways, enough complaining! I want to try and keep a positive attitude! With New Years creeping up on us, I wanted to give myself a New Years Resolution, which I do not normally do! I think people should just do or change something because they GENUINELY want to. With that being said, I want to do more for myself in 2018.

I think I care too much about what other people think or say and I want to just do things for myself and do what I feel is right. When I say “myself” I mean my family as well. I want to spend more time as a family because right now I am always running from one job to the next and it’s wearing me out. I want to stop and enjoy my life a little more and surround myself with people I love and who love me. I want to cut out as much toxic as I can. I am always run down and exhausted and it is not good for my health both mentally and physically. I also feel that it isn’t fair to my family that I am away so much. It is time for me to relax a little and just be with my family!

I also want to maintain a healthier lifestyle because if you are healthy and feel good, you exude positivity which makes you a more enjoyable person to be around. I DO NOT want to be a “debbie downer” and I want to be positive and help lift people up around me instead of bring people down. I just want to be a better person both inside and out in 2018! I am going to get into a better routine and just do what makes me happy!

I hope this post gives you some inspiration to try and be a happier, healthier you! It doesn’t matter how tough things are, there is always time to turn it around!
